Shotmed steel fabrication operation is located in the industrial city of Tibean, south of Cairo; on an area of 70,000 m2 with an annual production capacity of 10,000 MT of steel structure, 4,000 MT of tanks and vessels, and 3,500 MT of plate work and equipment.
The fabrication workshop is comprised of: a mechanical shop, preparation area, fit-up and welding areas, sand blasting and surface treatment area, all serviced by: 16 overhead cranes with up to 30 MT lifting capacity and over 530 engineers, technicians, fitters, welders and skilled workers.
Our workshops are equipped with modernized steel fabrication equipment.
All our fabrication processes comply with standard and quality control procedures as per the AWSD1.1 code. Depending on the project requirements, other codes are also applied.
